This weight loss myth will blow your mind! Can’t stop eating late at night? Need help reigning in your appetite? No you don’t! You can break all the rules and always eat after 7 pm as instructed by Joel Marion’s new book, “Always Eat After 7 PM“.
I declared 2020 my glow up year. I decided it was finally time for me to join a gym and take my health more seriously.
As a stay at home mom with two little ones still in diapers, I desperately needed a fun activity that I could call my own. I wouldnβt put going to the gym in the fun category, but I do like working out and taking care of myself in that way. So the gym it was!

After consistently going to the gym for two months, three times a week, I am starting to see my body slim down. People are starting to notice as well! Iβve been getting compliments, which I love, so keep them coming! Just kidding.
The Weight Loss Myth That WIll Blow Your Mind
In all seriousness, I am happy at the no pressure slow and steady progress I have been making at the gym. But I am ready to take it up a notch, by improving my diet.
So I said yes immediately, when given the chance to receive an advance copy of βAlways Eat After 7 PMβ by Joel Marion. Over the next month, Iβll be sharing my experience with the book, the diet, and hopefully a happier way to lose weight with you!
Within reading several pages of the book, I started thinking, βwhoa this is too good to be true.β Based on surprising science, Always Eat After 7 PM debunks popular diet myths and offers an easy-to-follow diet that accelerates fat-burning and allows you to indulge in your most intense food cravings: Eating the majority of your calories at night.
βResearch shows that the average personβs metabolic rate is no different during sleep than during the day. In short, your metabolism doesnβt slow down at night. Nor does your body store fat at the end of the day. Whether itβs 8 am or 8 pm, you use food for energy the same way.β – Always Eat After 7 PM.
Iβve always been taught that eating past 7 pm is bad for weight loss because your metabolism slows down, so the food you eat after 7 pm won’t burn off the same way it would during the day. This weight loss diet book debunks that myth.
The Weight Loss Plan
Basically, the Always Eat After 7 PM plan consists of: The 14-day Acceleration Phase to kick-start the program and see rapid results, The Main Phase where youβll learn exactly which foods to eat when in order to achieve your weight-loss goals, The Lifestyle Phase to keep the weight off for good.
As a breastfeeding mom, who is eight months postpartum, I still get hungry late into the evening. Itβs been unrealistic for me to not consume food past 7 pm to keep up with my bodyβs demand.
I have done a restrictive program in the past which was horrible and I didnβt stick with it for too long. So I am happy to be able to share with my readers a different happier way to lose weight.
βFact is, most diets are extremely narrow with regard to food choices and variety, and many even limit entire macro nutrients altogether over the course of the entire program (think low-carb and low-fat diets). Three months with no carbs? No thanks. Such practices not only are entirely unnecessary, but make for a miserable, unsustainable experience.β – Always Eat After 7 PM

My Weight Loss Goals
Losing the last of my baby weight, having more energy to keep up with my 2 year old and 8 month old, and sleeping better at night are on top of my health goals. So I am super excited to dive into this book, break all the rules and always eat after 7 pm. I will post an update next week! Stay tuned!
