We adopted a new puppy! 🐶

Meet @mika_la_malinois our 7 month old Belgian Malinois mix! She's super sweet, incredibly smart, loving and the perfect mix of hyper and chill for our family.

Volunteering at my daughters book fair this mornin

Volunteering at my daughters book fair this morning made my heart feel so full. 💜

Working from home for years without child care hasn't always been easy.

But I wanted to have my cake and eat it too. So I never gave up.🎂

To contribute to my family financially in my own way and on my own schedule has been a blessing that didn't just happen.

I had an idea. I worked on my idea. I made mistakes. Learned from them. Pivoted. Accepted mentorship. And Kept trying some more. That's the journey of working for yourself. 👩🏾‍💻

Having a career that's in alignment with who God made me to be, my talents, and the goals I have for my family means everything to me. 🙏🏽

With my youngest starting preschool soon, I've been thinking about so many things: Is she emotionally ready? Will she listen to the teacher? Is homeschooling a better option for her?

And now that yesterday's events have made safety concerns rise up within myself--am I truly ready?😵‍💫

I’ve have had the desire in my heart to homeschool for years, but I’m still not 100% sure and until I fully decide if it's best for my family, I'm happy to have found a great supplement with New Sphere virtual preschool. 🤩

New Sphere is an innovative way to homeschool your preschooler. There virtual classes are just as interactive and hands-on as traditional preschools but the best part is, we can do it all from the comfort of our home, in our Pjs, and in between my working schedule. 👩🏾‍💻

I’ve always felt that children learn as much as they do outside the classroom as they do inside the classroom, that’s why I love my version of homeschooling.

Homeschool Spanish Academy has made it fun and easy to teach my girls a second language. We’ve been taking classes for almost 3 months now, and I am so proud at their progress.

Kataleya now asks how to say certain words in Spanish, she speaks in Spanglish and this past month, I’ve noticed her trying to speak to her Colombian relatives in Spanish. It was so cute!

The Vasco girls have been busy these past few weeks, but I can't go another week without congratulating my little baby shark🦈

Six weeks of fun "hard work" learning how to survival swim and float was almost messed up by a fever and a cold in her last week, but Gabriella pushed through and graduated with a smile! 🥰
